:Background

Leo Orellana is Mobile Mortgage Specialist for TD Canada Trust Mortgage Sales Force. As such he specializes in Residential Home Financing Products. He has been with TD Canada Trust since completing his Bcom (Finance Major) from the University of Alberta in June 2008. Since then Leo has held various roles within the Retail banking channel, most recently joining  the mortgage sales force team in May of 2013. Leo is a First Generation Canadian born to Chilean parents and speak fluent Spanish.

سلام و عرض تبریک پیشاپیش به مناسبت فرا رسیدن عید سعید فطر. انشالله به همین مناسبت، جمعه اول آگوست، در محفل دوستانه ای به صرف چایی و شیرینی لحظات شیرینی را در کنار هم سپری خواهیم کرد. در این جشن، با انواع و طعم های مختلف چای های رنگارنگ  نظیر شاه توت (Black Berry)، لیمویی، سیب، بادرنجبویه (Melisa tea)، دمنوش ترش (Rosehip)، به و...، از شما پذیرایی خواهد شد.

زمان: جمعه اول آگوست، از ساعت 19:15 تا 21:00

مکان:  Heritage Lounge, Athabsca Hall 227, University of Alberta

People Who Think Scholarship 2014

Assalamun alaykum, 

It is that time again when we wish to promote the annual People Who Think Scholarship for all Shi’a students in Edmonton.

We are members of the community who have remained anonymous up until now. We have found, however that the community is anxious and doubtful when there is no personal name attached to a project. For that reason, we have put forward the name of a coordinator who can be the face of this scholarship. Our contact person is Sabira Devjee, a teacher within the Shi’a community. People can approach her for any questions or to donate to this cause.

The scholarship is open for all Shia students living in Edmonton who attend post-secondary institutions here or out of town, colleges and universities for a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph D. studies.

The scholarship gives you $ 1000 towards tuition or textbooks related expenses

This scholarship is being promoted in all our different centers and organizations.

Deadline is October 15, 2014

Students are highly encouraged to apply.

Please hand out this form to students, both girls and boys, and feel free to make extra copies. It is important to only use these ‘2014’ forms and destroy all previous ones. The addresses on the previous ones are no longer valid.
